Created in three dimensions using Finite Element Analysis in concert with artificially-intelligent reshaping algorithms, the Cobra represents a breakthrough in how the structure and performance of a tonearm is designed. Using organic fibers encapsulated in a polymer shell, it is both quite rigid and eggshell thin. The shape and materials allow for the minutest of vibrations and flexural-modes to be damped before reaching the arm’s bearing, eliminating the effect of chatter.

On-the-fly VTA adjustment and smooth-polished sapphire azimuth adjustments lend the best possible control for locking in the arm’s hyper-precision performance, while the cam-action anti-skating device provides the right amount of anti-skating force regardless of the position of the arm on the record.

While the Cobra was engineered to work as an integral part of the Caliburn Analog Playback System, it is also available separately, and can be adapted for use with many high-end turntables.
